PMA 9th Enrollments - CLOSED!

Hello to all prospective PMA members! This opening will last two weeks. The group closes July 24th! We will try to accept apps as soon as convenient (usually, we only accept them at the end of enrollment) due to the event that is ongoing, with either "accepted," "declined," or "accepted, with edits" status. Accepted with edits means you will get a week to make any necessary changes to your character in order to be accepted in the group! Because we have this critique period, we will not be doing 'app checks' before apps close.

Also you may want to see Pokemon Amie Company and Apellon Corporation, both of which are pokehuman run companies. They offer jobs and opportunities to Pokehumans looking to begin a life. If you're having trouble thinking of a background, you can employ these affiliations in your story.

There is also the Pokemon Village journal that lists current pokehuman/pokemon only locations. These villages are ideal living places for pokehumans who are just starting their lives, as they provide resources, jobs, and housing to get new humans onto their feet, even if temporarily.

Also, it would be ideal to take a look at the Behavior Announcement for further specifications on expected etiquette. If you are worried about messing up your group application, you can check the Common Application Issues journal to see common issues. We understand that it's a lot of information to go through, so don't be afraid to ask if you have questions or concerns!

Please be sure to send the join request in the following format:

Character Name: Your character's name
Pokemon: Which species your character is
Application Link: A link to your application

Remember to keep your correspondence message!

This is VERY IMPORTANT in making sure that we even receive your request! There have been many times that DA "eats" these messages, so if one does not show up in your inbox, don't worry: you can check your correspondence messages here. If nothing is showing up, just send another to the group. We will also be messaging members through their correspondence messages if issues arise.

After applying:

At the latest, we will try to accept applicants within a few days after enrollments close. Again, most applicants will have a chance to make edits to their characters if they are small fixes (please be sure to read the journals so you don't miss anything).

There are three results for applicants:
Accepted - accepted without edits, these will be processed quickly and ASAP
Accepted with edits - we will discuss any edits that will be needed to process the app. You will be accepted as a member, but your character will need some changes before being processed in the group.
Declined - not accepted to the group

Also, a mod will send a request to have your character app submitted to the group gallery once they are good to go!
